The Story
Grown by Drew Tallent in sandstone-based sandy-loam soil in the soon-to-be Hickory Sands AVA. 2019 was an El Niño vintage with cooler weather and ample rainfall. Harvest came in late September, with moderate alcohol and ripeness. A perfumey red-fruit driven Cabernet with a little pepper and ample acidity, we say "It is a Cab Franc drinkers Cabernet Sauvignon.
