The Story
Though Barolo is the king of wine, Barbera is the most consumed, grown, and in some ways intrinsic to the culture of Piemonte. The same hills that fascinated Roberto Voerzio and inspired him to craft legendary Barolo also stirred his romantic notes - Barbera had to be grown with the same meticulous passion. This Barbera grown in the Ceretto vineyard, located in the surroundings of La Morra, receives the same low yield and slow fermentation on its lees, coming out with surprising punch and character for an "everyday" wine.
