The Character
Aromas Blueberry, cherry, blackberry, cocoa, and toasted coconut
Tasting Notes A flurry of fruit and spice, the 2020 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful snapshot of what Paso Robles has to offer. Before diving into the glass, you will notice the rich color this wine exudes, then aromas of blueberry, cocoa, and toasted coconut. Bright, red cherry-like acidity awakes the palate and transitions to a juicy and elegantly tannic mid body. Flavors of blackberry and blueberry carry all the way through to a lingering finish of toasty oak and cocoa powder. A Cab lover’s dream
Selling Point A refined cab with an audacious twist
Pairings Steaks, blue cheeses, and burgers
The Story
For our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, we sourced grapes from multiple Paso Robles sub AVA’s, including the Templeton Gap, El Pomar, and Geneseo districts. Small clusters and berries help create a wine rich in color and flavor after fermenting on the skins for two weeks. Aged in French oak, this year’s Cabernet Sauvignon is poised, elegant, and ready to enjoy now.
