Brand Story
Nugan Estate's story goes back to 1938 when Alfredo and Annelise Nugan fled their village of Alcira, Spain and immigrated to Australia. By 1940 the two owned a farm and had built a respected produce business, growing grapes among other fruits. Their son, Ken, took over the family business in 1965 before he unexpectedly passed in 1986, wherein his wife Michelle took over. She transitioned the company to winemaking, and it has only grown under Matt Nugan, the 3rd generation of a proud family.
