The Story
Vineyard & Vintage:
- Single vineyard estate
- Named after the famous terraces where the vineyard is situated
- Rocky topsoil with large pebbles and subsoil of limestone and clay
- Exposure to the Mistral cools the vineyard and reduces disease pressure
- 2021 was an excellent vintage with a warm, sunny growing season benefitting from 3 short heatwaves and intermittent rain showers, the last of which came late in the season invigorating the grapes just before harvest.
- Ideal growing conditions created small, concentrated berries producing fresh, elegant wines with good complexity and depth of color, balanced alcohol, and approachable tannin.
