Oregon is taking over Texas next week! We are thrilled to be bringing in four top leaders from Oregon wine country for some extra special trade events across the Lone Star state. That said, we`ll be highlighting our visiting suppliers throughout the week. It`s Oregon or bust, baby!
First up, meet Bethany Ford of @IllaheVineyards. Bethany`s passion for Pinot Noir ignited amidst the vineyards of the Santa Ynez Valley while pursuing her BFA in art in Los Angeles. Enthralled by the artistry and intricacies of winemaking, and fueled by a long-standing desire to reside in the Northwest, she relocated to Oregon in 2005. There, she honed her skills at several esteemed wineries, immersing herself in the region`s winemaking culture.
In 2009, Bethany found her home at Illahe Vineyards. Leveraging her sales acumen, she played a pivotal role in propelling Illahe`s growth from a local winery to an internationally recognized brand, expanding its presence into 35 markets worldwide. During harvest, you`ll often spot her donning work boots, tirelessly engaged in lab work, punch downs, and meticulous fruit sorting, all while graciously treating the team to her culinary creations.
Bethany holds a WSET Level 2 Award for Wine and Spirits, a testament to her dedication to mastering her craft. Beyond her professional pursuits, she joyfully embraces the roles of a devoted mother to her two little ones, Beckett and Miette, and loving partner to Brad.

About Malvirà: @malvirawinery began its production in the 1950s under the guidance of Giuseppe Damonte. Giuseppe was a visionary, understanding that in the 50s, Roero had not yet maximized its vineyard and thus grape-growing potential. Today the estate is run by Massimo and Roberto Damonte, Giuseppe`s sons, together with their sons Francesco, Pietro and Giacomo, who inherited his passion for wine making. Despite constant growth in production and exposure to new markets, the winery is still a family business.

Please join us in sending a warm welcome to our newest supplier in Tuscany: Podere Sette! 🎊 Located in the heart of Bolgheri, Podere Sette was born from the desire of Marisa Chiappini to continue her father`s business in wine. Her son, Giuliano, now helms management of their estate.
"Podere Sette", or "Seven Farms", refers to the seven original vineyard sites that the family cultivated. The namesake of the wines jokingly comes from a few of the "Seven Deadly Sins", and whether or not that makes us sinners, we currently carry three:
L`Invidio (Envy) - A charming, Merlot-dominant expression of Bolgheri terroir
Il Superbo (Pride) - The Cabernet Franc + Cabernet Sauvignon blend that made the Bolgheri DOC famous to begin with!
